About US

Our Story

The school started its activity back in 1993 under the guidance of the Society of Christian Doctrine, a Christian Society founded by Father George Preca in 1907.

It has always been ranked among the best private high schools in Albania. The culmination was in 2014 when it was ranked the best private school in Albania, achieving the highest results in Matura exams.

Pershendetje miq te Kolegjit Preka!Tani, ne fund te 4 viteve studimi, e ndiej edhe une per detyre te falenderoj perzemesisht stafin e kesaj shkolle per punen qe kane bere me ne nxenesit. Me thene te drejten, nuk eshte se ne kete shkolle me ka prure deshira e madhe. Por ne qofte se do ktheja kohen pas edhe njehere, do te vija me deshiren me te madhe te studioja ne Kolegjin Preka. Gjate 4 viteve kam mesuar shume, jo vetem ne aspektin akdemik, por edhe ne ate social. Per kete falenderoj personat te cilet nuk ishin thjesht mesimdhenes ne ate shkolle, por MESUES. Ne vecanti permend prof. Anesti Treska, pasioni i te cilit per kete shkolle na shtyn edhe ne te dashurojme gjithcka qe na rethon dhe te marrim me te miren prej tyre, te rrembjme nga jeta cdo gje te mundshme dhe te nevojshme. Nuk le pas as mesuesit e tjere qe ne menyren e tyre, secili ka kontribuar ne formimin tone. Dhe un jam e sigurt qe te gjithe keta nxenes do te kene sukses ne jete. Në fillim mendoja se shkolla e Maltës ishte si gjithë shkollat e tjera, por kur fillova universitetin kuptova se ne ishim edukuar shumë ndryshe nga të tjerët dhe kjo falë punës dhe përpjekjeve të pafund të mësuesve, në vecanti Charlie Camilleri, Anesti Treska, etj... Te dashur shoke, mesues dhe drejtues te Kolegjit Preka, e ndiej detyrim moral tu them te pakten faleminderit. Ne sajin tuaj koha ime ne kolegj eshte mbushur me kaq kujtime. Sigurisht, kater vite atje kane te mirat dhe problemet e tyre por keshtu eshte vete realiteti; "the world outside" sic shkruhet ne wbsite. Good evening to all! Hope everyone is having a good life. I just wanted to say thank you to all the staff, with whom I had the honor to be for almost half of the day during my 4 years of high school. Thank you to Mr. Charlie, Mr. Lorenc, Mr. Martin, Mr. Vincent (I can never forget the days when we used to organize Prize Day, and in which I got a prize in P.S.E. 🙂 and everyone else.
